The 25 immersive themed rooms in the main hall allow re-entry, while the rail cinema and VR room are one go each. The child band is 80 to 139 cm, but under 100 cm the rail cinema and VR are difficult, and with the main hall plus rail cinema bundle an adult can use the child's rail cinema ticket. Guests aged 70 and over show ID at check-in.

Seven zones include a role-play town where children try more than 20 jobs, a cloud play area, an undersea zone, a climbing adventure and a science interactive zone. Non-slip socks are required, children under 10 must stay with a guardian, and the accompanying guardian cannot be swapped after entry. The ticket is used once within 30 days of the chosen date.

On the ground floor of Asiatique The Riverfront it combines a 9D cinema with stereoscopic 3D and motion seats and an AR wearable glasses and audio-guide walk through the story of the Earth. Guests with back, neck or heart conditions and pregnant guests cannot enter some zones, and the 4D room is closed to anyone who cannot be belted in, so check health conditions first when travelling with parents.

Set inside MBK Center, this immersive digital space is an easy place to duck into from the rain during a shopping trip. Light, video and sound come together, with play for children and photo spots for adults. The child band is 91 to 139 cm, adults are 140 cm and up, and 90 cm or under counts as an infant.

A sports theme park with 16 screen-based games, from squash and archery to horse riding, bowling, skiing, curling and clay shooting. Tapping the card key at the kiosk puts you on the waiting list, and there is a penalty if it is not returned. Baseball batting admits one player at a time, and the child band is ages 7 to 18.

Best forA rainy afternoon for teens and adults who want speed
The track is indoors, so rain makes no difference, and a run lasts about 8 minutes. Drivers with no experience take a regular kart for the first race and a fast kart from the second. A racing suit, helmet and locker are included, with adults at 135 cm and up and children at 125 to 134 cm.

An amusement park about 40 km from the city with four zones, Adventure Land, Fantasy Land, Dream Garden and Ban Thai. The Super Visa covers entry, unlimited rides, Snow Town and go-karts, and leaves out carnival games. Snow Town and go-karts are for guests 155 cm and taller, and the normal visa is for Thai nationals only.

The crocodile wrestling show runs at 12:45 and 14:20, the magic show at 13:15 and 15:00, and the elephant show at 13:45 and 15:30. Elephant rides are 15-minute experiences, on weekdays from 10:30 to 13:00 and 14:30 to 15:00 and at weekends 10:30-11:00 and 14:30-15:00. The 11:00-14:00 buffet also serves vegetarian and Muslim dishes.

In rainy-season Bangkok it is safe to split the day into an outdoor morning and an indoor afternoon. When a shower arrives, venues inside malls such as MELAND at Siam Paragon, Cave Fantasy at MBK Center and Legend Heroes at Seacon Square make it easy to change direction, and all of them stay open until about nine in the evening.
If you are travelling with parents, choose places that need little walking. Space & Time Cube+ has a rule that guests aged 70 and over show ID at check-in, and MELAND lists free entry for guests 60 and over. Better World Better Future keeps people with back, neck or heart conditions out of some zones, so check health first.
With children, height rules shape the plan. At Cave Fantasy the child band is 91 to 139 cm, at MELAND it is 81 to 140 cm, and at Space & Time Cube+ the rail cinema and VR are difficult under 100 cm. Each venue draws its own line, so measure your child before booking.
If you have one dry day, head out of the city. Dream World has four zones and a Super Visa with unlimited rides, and Samphran Elephant Ground runs crocodile, magic and elephant shows twice each between 12:45 and 16:00. Both are far from the centre, so one a day is enough.
Booking conditions matter more in the rainy season, when plans shift most. Better World cannot be cancelled or refunded, Legend Heroes offers no refund after a no-show and MELAND must be used within 30 days. If the forecast looks uncertain, put the venues with looser terms first.
