BANGKOK SPA PACKAGES

8 Bangkok spa packages compared by room setup

With spa packages, satisfaction usually comes down to two practical things: how many of you fit in one room, and how long the treatments can run back to back. These 8 Bangkok spas are compared on room mix, programme length, capacity and opening hours.

SPA & WELLNESS GUIDE

Before you book a package

Rooms are the first thing that breaks a booking. A spa with thirteen couple rooms and one with two behave completely differently when two of you want the same evening slot. Match the room counts on each card against your party first.

If you are stacking treatments, budget the full elapsed time. There is set-up between programmes and some venues cap the total at, say, 240 minutes, so packages routinely finish later than people expect.

Closing time is not the last booking time. To take a 120-minute treatment at a spa that closes at 21:00 you need to start by 19:00 — decide the programme length first, then work backwards.

SPA PLANNING

How to choose a spa package

  • Room mix and group size

Two guests need a couple room and three need a triple to stay together. Venues with few rooms sell out of the popular slots first.

  • How long treatments can run

Back-to-back programmes only work where the spa schedules them, and some cap the total length.

  • Thai versus oil capacity

The same spa may take four guests at once for Thai massage but fourteen for oil — worth checking if your group all wants the same treatment.

SPA ROUTE

Choosing by where you stay

  • Sukhumvit (Nana and Asok)

Where the larger spas are, so the best odds for a big group or a same-day booking. Walkable from BTS Asok and Nana.

  • Langsuan and Lumphini

Walkable from Chit Lom and Lumphini Park hotels, and where the triple rooms are if three of you want one room.

  • Riverside and Silom

A mix of hotel spas and Korean-style venues. The ones that store luggage suit a post-check-out appointment.
