How we chose

  • All six schools offer hands-on Thai cooking in Bangkok.
  • Menu choices, market sessions and teaching language distinguish the schools.
  • Station meeting points and class lengths help fit a lesson around the rest of your day.

Good to know before you book

For a market visit, select the session first. Silom and Tingly visit markets in the morning; Siam Cookery House separates morning and afternoon market sessions from its evening lesson. Weather can also affect Udomsuk’s market visit.

Mango’s two-hour express and three-hour full classes differ in market time and cooking content. Sompong rotates curries and accompanying dishes by weekday, so choose your date with the menu in mind.

A school serving Korean travellers does not necessarily teach in Korean. Check English instruction and any interpretation separately, and submit dietary or allergy requests when booking.

Many Bangkok schools require you to meet them directly. Match Udomsuk, On Nut or Huai Khwang routes to the start time and check observer rules for anyone not cooking.

Rates and availability depend on dates, guests and selected options. Check the terms on the product page.
