In Silom, the Brasserie at Holiday Inn opens at 12:00 for a lunch before joining in, followed by Chocolab's chocolate tea at 14:30 and Soshi's Japanese buffet at 18:00. The two North Sathorn picks share SO/ Bangkok, so afternoon and evening connect without travelling.
Around Siam Square the malls act as shelter. Ventisi serves a buffet from 12:00 and JUMBO Seafood Siam Paragon gives a two-hour indoor meal. After dark, Red Sky Rooftop Bar offers a beer and cocktail package to unwind.
The old town toward Khao San is built around the river. Chom Arun opens at 11:00 for an early lunch and the Sala Rattanakosin Eatery & Bar stays open to 22:30 for a late dinner. Both face Wat Arun.
For the midday water-fight hours slot in somewhere cold, such as Chocolab at 14:30 or the Brasserie with soft drinks included. April passes 35 degrees by day, so plan water breaks between meals too.

The Brasserie opens at 12:00, Chom Arun at 11:00 and Chocolab at 14:30, while Soshi starts at 18:00 and Red Sky at 17:00 until 25:00. Choose around the water-fight hours.
The Brasserie includes soft drinks and Chocolab serves a Belgian chocolate frappe. JUMBO Seafood at Siam Paragon is mostly indoor seating. Pick somewhere you can sit comfortably after getting wet.
Most listings say a holiday rate that includes Songkran may apply, JUMBO Seafood does not refund after prepayment, and Chom Arun cancels a late booking as a no-show.
