The places and experiences in each route

  • Each tour has a clear neighbourhood focus: a morning market and temple, Talat Noi lanes, Golden Mount or Old Town at night.
  • The collection distinguishes walks from itineraries that also use a songthaew, river boat or tuk-tuk.
  • Some routes include temple or museum admission, a drink or local food, giving each outing a different level of guided discovery.

From local markets to temple lanes

The Trok Mo Morning Market tour follows Bangkok's early food trade with a visit to Wat Suthat. It is a close look at the city waking up, with the Giant Swing and the surrounding Old Town in the same half-day outing.

The three-hour Talat Noi walk takes in the century-old Assumption Cathedral, Araksa Tea Room from a Chiang Mai organic tea brand, the Central Post Office's TCDC rooftop views, Portuguese Embassy murals and neighbourhood lanes. Songthaew and river-boat rides, plus one iced Americano, are included.

The Golden Mount tuk-tuk route links Wat Saket's hilltop views with the flower market, Giant Swing and hands-on exhibits at Museum Siam. The night ride trades the daytime landmarks for illuminated temple exteriors, old streets and a local noodle stop.

Temple visits may require covered shoulders and knees. Museum Siam is closed on Mondays.
