BANGKOK TEE TIMES

Bangkok golf tee times: 8 courses compared

When the date is already fixed, the question is not which course ranks highest but which one will confirm that date and time. These 8 Bangkok courses are compared on floodlit availability, minimum and maximum group size, and drive time from the city.

BANGKOK GOLF GUIDE

Why Bangkok tee times fall through

Usually it is not availability but group size. Submitting two players for a weekend morning at a club with a three-player minimum will not confirm. With a small party, filter to courses that accept one or two players first.

If the date is fixed, moving the time is easier than moving the course. Clubs with floodlights or twilight rates can still fit you in on the same day after the morning has gone.

Caddie fees, cart fees and club rental are often settled at the course on top of the green fee, and the cart threshold differs by club. Separate what is included from what you pay on the day before you book.

COURSE PLANNING

What decides whether a tee time confirms

  • Which slots are sold

A floodlit course doubles the options on a single date. If the morning is full, look at night-golf courses before changing the day.

  • Minimum group size

Some clubs accept one player midweek; others need three on a weekend morning. Below the minimum, an open slot still will not confirm.

  • Players per group and carts

Fixed four-balls play faster; clubs allowing five or six keep a large party together. Cart thresholds change the total price.

ITINERARY IDEAS

Planning by time of day

  • Early morning

Avoids the heat and leaves the afternoon free. Check when the range opens and when the clubhouse starts serving.

  • Afternoon and twilight

Good when the morning is committed, and often priced lower. How many holes you finish depends on sunset.

  • Night golf

Only at courses with floodlights. Allow for dinner after a late finish and the drive back into the city.
