Rolling Hills even has a bunker practice area, and Waterside keeps its range open until 20:00, so a late-afternoon arrival can still warm up. Both need at least two golfers.
For two rounds in one place, 36-hole complexes are easiest. Burapha Golf and Resort lets you alternate between two 18-hole courses, with a range open 07:00-17:00. Plutaluang Navy Golf Course, opened in 1969 by the navy, has 36 holes and a massage service.
To compare scale and facilities, look at St. Andrews 2000 (par 74, about 7,777 yards) and Silky Oak (2010). St. Andrews has massage and a restaurant (05:30-19:00); Silky Oak has the fullest practice set with chipping and putting greens, bunker practice and massage.
To pair a round with a trip toward Bangkok, Greenwood (27 holes, about 45 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport) fits, while Bangpra International, at about 7,405 yards, is the longest here. Its range closes at 15:00, so book a morning tee time.
New Year week carries the year's highest green and caddie fees. Most courses here require carts, so check whether the cart fee is included, and the afternoon after the countdown is the gentler choice for tee times.
