Fukui · Awara Onsen
This is a tea-ceremony outing at Awara Onsen in Fukui, not a Uji matcha-making workshop. After one onsen visit, guests are guided through matcha at a traditional tea shop and a Japanese garden walk. Uji travel and stone-milling are not included.
At Fukujuen Ujicha Kobo, visitors can learn about tea processing, grind matcha and taste different brews.
Taihoan is a place to experience a traditional tea ceremony with matcha and a Japanese sweet. A ceremony and a matcha-making workshop involve different activities, so choose the format that interests you.
