Important Notes/Refund Policy

No fees are charged for cancellations or changes to Monkeytravel bookings.

If a cancellation penalty is imposed by the product supplier (hotel, tour operator, spa, or other supplier), we will do our best to help you avoid it. If a penalty applies, only the amount remaining after the penalty may be refundable, and a full refund may not be possible.

Before payment: No cancellation or change fee applies.
After payment: Monkeytravel does not charge a separate fee; only penalties imposed by the supplier may apply.

Hotel Booking changes and cancellation fees

Cancellation and change fees are applied based on the product-specific policies communicated through the site in advance.
The conditions confirmed at the time of booking serve as the standard, and fees may apply accordingly.

Golf Booking changes and cancellation fees

However, if an individual golf course has its own cancellation policy, the terms communicated to you in advance will take precedence.

Refund policy

If you paid via virtual account or bank transfer in Korean won, please provide your bank account number so we can process your refund.
Once your change or cancellation is processed, we will issue a refund to your provided bank account on the same day.
However, for real-time bank transfers (full cancellation) and credit card payments, the authorization will be reversed, which may take 5–7 business days to reflect.
For mobile payments, only payments made in the current month can be canceled. For cancellations in the following month, the refund will be reduced by the 3.5% processing fee.

Important notes: Changes & cancellations

All cancellation and change deadlines are based on 18:00 Korea Standard Time (KST). Requests received after 18:00 KST will be treated as received the following day.
Check-in date calculations use business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in Japan.
If the supplier’s cancellation policy is stricter than ours, the supplier’s policy takes precedence.
Pre-announced guaranteed bookings (non-refundable reservations, etc.) are fully non-refundable, regardless of how much time remains.
For hotel bookings, early check-out after check-in is non-refundable for the remaining nights.
For hotel bookings, separate rates for non-Korean guests, including foreign passport holders, may apply.
Please note that two or more changes or cancellations may result in a supplier penalty, even on dates that would otherwise qualify for a full refund.
All cancellation requests must be made through Monkeytravel. We are not responsible for any loss or disadvantage resulting from a cancellation request made directly to the hotel or supplier.
Monkeytravel acts as a booking agent on your behalf. Any disputes involving misrepresentation, substandard services, deposits, or other matters must be resolved directly between you and the relevant supplier.
