Separate from the nemophila and kochia seasons at Hitachi Seaside Park, this links admission to Ibaraki Flower Park in Ishioka. Its four-season garden features bulbs and roses, with an e-voucher scanned at the entrance. Hitachi admission and transport between the parks are not included.
In spring, nemophila covers Miharashi Hill in blue, while kochia shifts from green to red in autumn. Narcissus, tulips, roses and other flowers add different displays through the rest of the year.
Buses from Katsuta Station's east exit take about 15 minutes to the west gate or about 20 minutes to the south gate. Choose the arrival point that best fits your route through the grounds.
The park is large, with walking time between the hill and garden areas. Build in extra time for busy bloom periods and check whether cycling paths or internal transport are operating on your visit date.
