Coconut Village Basket Boat Arrival: Basket Boat Experience
In the past, Coconut Village was a riverside retreat for local residents and soldiers. It was also well known as a spot where locals enjoyed fishing using basket boats.
Today, basket boats have become one of Hoi An’s signature attractions. More visitors come for the basket boat experience than for basket boat fishing.
As you ride the basket boat, you’ll explore the wetland ecosystem of Coconut Village and watch local fishermen as they fish, along with a basket boat show.
