Point Usage Policy
There are two main ways to earn points in Monkeytravel
We want to contribute to the customer's benefit through the point system and
share the excitement, fun, leisure, and memories of travel.
1. Earn points based on product reservations
Earn points based on product reservations
Member benefits by grade
VIP Member
Members who have paid more than
300 million won in the past 5 years
Cash payment 4% accumulation,
card, Easy payment 2.5% accumulation
Gold Member
Members who have confirmed at least one reservation
Cash payment 3% accumulation,
card, Easy payment 1.5% accumulation
Silver Member
Members who have not confirmed any reservations
No point accumulation
- Cash payments only apply to deposits without bank accounts, virtual accounts, or real-time account transfers, while 'money charging' payments do not apply to simple payments.
- Separate criteria apply to travel agencies and affiliated members.
Point accumulation time
Reservation → Payment (excluding VND payment) → Point accumulation after using the reservation product the next day
Notes
- Points cannot be used for reservations that accrue points.
- When paying with VND, points are not accumulated, existing accumulated points cannot be used, and it does not affect your membership level.
- For reservations that use points, the payment amount after deducting the points is again accumulated.
- The point system for Monkeytravel World (Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Guam) and partner members is separately applied.

- In the case of hotels, only Monkey (Winwin) direct contract products will earn points, and other affiliated products will be excluded from the points.
2. Earn points for writing posts
Earn points based on product reservations
All Monkey Travel members who participate in writing travel reviews, vivid reviews, and Monkey Compass place reviews will receive points.
Earn points based on article writing
- Comment50 points(Minimum 15 characters)
The point accumulation for registering a comment is limited to a maximum of 3 per day.
- MonkeyCompass Hot Place Review100 points(Minimum 50 characters)
The point accumulation for registering a compass hot place review is limited to a maximum of 10 per day.
- Live Review200 points(Minimum 50 characters)
Earn 300 additional points when registering for photos (1 or more)
- Travel Review1000 points(Minimum 500 characters)
Only up to one case per day will be accumulated.
Point accumulation time
The points are accumulated immediately when the article is posted. (If the article is deleted again, the points paid will also be deducted.)
Notes
- Bulletin board posts or My Page posts related to reservations are not related to points.
- Articles related to reservations are not related to points.
- The points accumulated by writing articles do not affect your membership level.
- Repeating the same content of vivid reviews, travel reviews, etc. or posting unrelated content for the purpose of 'point farming' is considered to be a behavior that hinders community and the points will be deducted. The reservation paid with the points will be canceled.
Point details
- Value: 1 point has the same value as 1 Korean Won.
- Minimum: 5,000 points are available when paying 10,000 won or more.
- Use: All products can be used like cash (cannot be used when paying with VND). For reservations paid with points, the points accumulated for the points used can be accumulated again.
- Validity: 5 years (Points that are not used for a period of time will be automatically expired if the validity period expires.)
- Ownership of rights: Only available when booking with your own name.
