The Hanoi Opera House is a building constructed between 1901 and 1911 during the French colonial period, designed in the Baroque style. Modeled after the Paris Opéra Garnier National Opera House, it was completed in 1911 and is considered one of Hanoi's most notable French architectural landmarks. Located in the heart of the capital, this structure, known locally as the Opéra Garnier, attracts numerous tourists. Throughout the year, a variety of cultural performances are held there, with ticket prices starting from over 200,000 VND, allowing visitors to enjoy both the interior and the performances. In 2011, the Hanoi Opera House and August Revolution Square (the square in front of the Opera House) were designated as national historical and architectural monuments.
