Basic Information
My Son, the ruins of the Champa Kingdom, is a Hindu temple inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Although smaller in scale compared to religious and political capitals such as Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Bagan in Myanmar, the My Son archaeological site holds comparable cultural value. Located beneath Mount Mahaprabat, which means "Great Mountain" and is associated with the Hindu deity Shiva, approximately 70 ruins remain, most of which date from the 8th to the 13th centuries. Traditional cultural performances are held three times daily for tourists. If you wish to experience a performance that embodies Champa culture through dance, please visit according to the scheduled times.
※ My Son Archaeological Site operating hours: 06:00 – 17:00 (subject to seasonal changes)
