Overview: 📍 Kanchanaburi Elephant & Bamboo Rafting Full-Day Tour; This is a shared tour for international travelers, led by a Thai Guide who speaks English, along with other participants :)

The tour takes place in an area approximately 2 hours from Bangkok.

Visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, JEATH War Museum, the Death Railway, and the Allied War Cemetery from World War II.

You’ll also have time to experience elephant and raft trekking.

06:00 Hotel Pick-up

09:30 World War II Allied War Cemetery: A total of 6,982 Allied prisoners of war were forced to labor on the construction of the Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Railway. This is the final resting place of those who tragically lost their lives after being exploited by the Japanese army under forced labor.

10:00 Visit to the JEATH War Museum: This site is a reconstruction of a prisoner-of-war camp.
Located inside Wat Chai Chumphon on the banks of the Mae Klong River, the JEATH Museum takes its name from the first letters of Japan, England, Australia, Thailand, and Holland.
Built on a large scale for the Allied prisoners held at the camp, the museum depicts the horrors of World War II.

10:30 Death Railway: A 415 km railway built between Thailand and Burma, it is known as the Death Railway because of the sacrifices made by Allied prisoners of war held captive by the Japanese army during its construction.
