Kuiburi National Park is Thailand’s only true wilderness sanctuary where more than 320 wild elephants live under protection.
In addition to Asian elephants and gaurs (Indian bison), the park is home to mammals including golden jackals, various deer species, langurs, white-handed gibbons, Burmese hares, Malayan porcupines, and wild boars. Rare but fascinating species such as tigers, leopards, banteng (wild cattle), and Malayan tapirs can also be found here.
Take in the pristine natural landscapes, with dense forests of dry and moist evergreen trees interspersed with palm trees.
Experience the profound sense of awe that no zoo can offer as you watch herds of elephants move freely through this majestic wilderness.
