Overview
Mae Kampong Village
Located about 50 km east of Chiang Mai, Mae Kampong is a small eco-tourism village surrounded by mountains and forests, home to around 130 houses and 370 residents. Its peaceful atmosphere and close connection with nature make it a popular destination among both Thai locals and international visitors.
Kanta Prueksa Temple
A small Buddhist temple located near the center of Mae Kampong Village, Kanta Prueksa Temple is surrounded by lush forests and a flowing stream, creating a peaceful atmosphere that blends naturally with the village. Away from the busy tourist temples, the temple offers a chance to experience the tranquil charm of a traditional mountain village and get a glimpse into the local community’s way of life and religious traditions.
