With its distinctive architecture featuring a giant elephant—one of Thailand’s symbols—sculpted atop the building, Erawan Museum is a must-see landmark that leaves a lasting impression on visitors to Bangkok. Built to showcase Thailand’s history and traditions, the museum is divided into three sections.

- Level 1: Exhibits introducing the museum’s construction process and background
- Level 2: Displays of artistic decorations made from various materials, featuring four ornamental bronze columns
- Inside the elephant: Connected by a spiral staircase (the elephant’s legs), offering a chance to explore its unique interior spaces

Operation Hours : 09:00 ~ 19:00
Admission cutoff time : 17:00

Child policy
Infants : 0~5age / Children : 6~14age / Adults : 15age~
For child guests, your age will be verified at admission. Please present your passport when requested by the ticket office staff. To ensure a smooth entry, we recommend saving a photo of your passport on your phone.

Bringing and wearing traditional clothing from outside the museum is strictly prohibited. If you wear it, a 400 THB fee will be charged.
Some areas have filming restrictions. Please follow the on-site staff’s instructions at all times.
👗 Dress Code
Guests wearing sleeveless tops, short shorts, or short skirts are not permitted entry. If you’re dressed this way, you can rent a long skirt at the temple entrance and then enter.
🎧 Korean audio guide
Free rentals are available, and a 1,000 THB deposit is required. The full deposit will be refunded upon return.
