Review Information

The food court within the shopping mall serves as an oasis for hungry shoppers,

It is not an exaggeration to view it as a type of local restaurant suitable for travelers to have an affordable and reliable meal.

When you want to experience local cuisine but aren't keen on street food because it's hot and unsanitary,

There's not even a food court like this at the mall.

You can easily find food courts at every shopping mall in Thailand, and I highly recommend visiting at least one during your trip.

So, let me show you the proper way to enjoy the food court~

BTS Arirang Station connected to This is Terminal 21, Bangkok's premier shopping mall.

As if evoking airports in countries around the world Isn't it also famous for its fun concept?

The operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

As soon as we enter, we can see an escalator that leads directly to the third floor.

The 3rd floor is Istanbul, lol.

It was a bit scary at first because it was so high...

It's still scary, haha.

 It's summer sale season.

Crunch, crunch, but since I'm hungry, I'll put that aside for now.

Let's head to the food court.

Arrived at the 4th floor!! This is Pier 21 Food Court.

Including the food court, there are many chains such as MK Suukki, Hachi Bang Ramen, and Tudari, among others.

It offers a wide range of options.

Today, I'm going to thoroughly explore the food court.

We load the amount onto the card for use.

Usually, 200 baht is enough for two people~

 When the time comes

Please just pay the amount you wish to recharge.

Then, I'll give you the card.

You can now place orders with great excitement using that card~

Is it because it's the weekend? There are so many people...

There's no seat...

It's fine... when you place the order, a seat will open up~ lol

When I first arrived in Thailand, on the street

because it's easy, delicious, and affordable to buy and eat fruit.

It was really wonderful~

Isn't this place a bit tidier than the ones sold on the streets of Thailand? ^^

It's so crowded with people~

The menu is also available in Thai, English, and with pictures.

Don't worry, I'll be here with you.

First, something you can eat without worry

Let's order some rice noodles~

The fish cakes look plump and delicious.

Since it's a sample, you can point to it with your hand and place an order without any issue. Haha.

Also, since each menu item has a number, you can simply provide the number.

But, speaking of which...

It asks what you want to do with the dough.

Don't know... then... know... delicious things...

It's quite confusing and difficult to tell what's what.

So, though I may not know everything, I'll do my best to share what I do know in a simple way~

Bami: Egg noodles, which have a slightly sticky texture and a yellow hue. Made from a dough of flour and eggs, they offer a chewy texture and a rich, savory flavor! They are closer in texture to the noodles we know from ramen.

It is commonly called "bami" in Thai, though it is also referred to as "mirang."

Senmi: The thinnest noodle sheet

Senlek: Medium-sized noodle sheet

Senyaei: The thickest noodles

Mama: Thai-style noodles

They are various Thai-style fish cakes and seafood, known as "luk chin pla," used as a garnish for noodles.

I know there's fish cake in it, but what is there so much of?

The items that look like fish may be difficult for first-time visitors, so please order everything except the second one from the left and the one at the far right.

Stick to what you know and you'll succeed!! All the fish cakes are delicious.

It looks like it's ready for packaging too.

Just 5 baht more, that's all~

Now it's time to choose a greasy food!

Let's look at the most user-friendly and least off-putting menu items.

1. Pad Thai with shrimp is the safest bet for a stir-fried noodle dish. 100% success rate!!

2. Hee-i, Nang, Rom, Teok, Keureop --> Crispy Oyster Fritters

3. Talteungteokkeop (Fried Seafood on a Hot Plate): A dish featuring fried seafood served on a hot plate.

Number 4 It's Thai-style oyster omelet. This is also perfect for the Korean palate!

Number 5 is similar to Number 4, but it uses clams as an ingredient.

Number 6 is the same as Number 1, but without the shrimp; it's the basic Pad Thai.

While waiting for the food

You can fill the source with whatever you wish.

Let's try a challenge with my friend.

I want to eat oysters, and specifically deliciously fried oysters. Haha.

Gestured and explained with hand signals to order only oysters instead of seafood for the 3rd time, and it worked!! Turns out, you just need to order it twice~

You also need to bring your own spoons, forks, and chopsticks.

They are almost provided in each corner, making them easy to find.

There is hot water in the area that appears white over there.

It looks like you made it to disinfect, kind of... Yeah... Hmm... lol

 Order from the menu

I'm choosing a drink.

It's mango season, so delicious and affordable mangoes are everywhere~

Standing in line, choosing fruit from the cups

Just pick what you like, and we'll change it for you!

Or, you can just tell me the number directly after looking at the menu, and I'll take your order~

Front Watermelon blended with ice I ordered a bang-bang.

Carrots... Sorry, but I don't want to get healthy... Pass.

It's a menu item called "Kaukamu."

You can consider it as Jokbal Bibap.

The pork is truly tender.

Does it taste like jangjorim? It's truly delicious!!

The difficult order I just placed

Fried Oysters!!

The fried food is crispy and Since the host is underneath, when you chew together, it's crunchy.

My mouth is watering.

This is...

I was about to order the basic rice noodle dish earlier,

I personally love tom yum, so I ordered tom yum noodles without broth for my bakmi. It's a tom yum bakmi, right?

It may be a matter of personal preference, but I personally really like it.

Try it!! Spicy~Sour~

Sweet, sticky rice cakes!

Grind the seeds as they are, hehe... so... so smooth.

This is a refreshing chrysanthemum tea, if you will.

Sweet and fluttering

A fragrant taste that somehow feels healthier?

 Full shot!!

Two people top up 400 baht each.

167 baht spent~ Awesome! To fill my belly so comfortably for just about 6,000 won!

Go to where you charged it earlier, hand over your card, and get your remaining balance refunded—nunu-nana~~!!

Terminal 21 feels a bit lacking, so...

I decided to visit Siam Paragon as well.

It's not because I never get to ride. Haha

Exit at Siam Station, Exit 5, via BTS.

It connects to Siam Paragon Department Store.

You can exit from any gate and still reach your destination, but I find taking Gate 5 the most convenient. Haha.

Just go downstairs.

I can see the Si Liff (Siam Ocean World).

It's the weekend, so there are tons of people here. ㄷㄷ

Does it feel a bit more sophisticated than Terminal 21?

That's why the prices are slightly higher.

  The method is the same.

Pay as much as you wish for charging.

Just receive the card~

Just choose your desired dish and show your card—that's it!! ^^

Some dishes with a slightly fusion feel

There are more of them, and the variety is slightly greater.

When you're unsure what to eat, I recommend safe and delicious pho. ^^

Pick and choose as much as you like from the sweet desserts and fruits.

You can drink it~

We haven't been full yet, so we didn't place any additional orders; we just took some photos and left. Haha

Both places have decent food, but...

Terminal 21 shopping mall is a bit more affordable for dining. Personally I'd like to give you a higher score.
