We visited the famous Italian restaurant Barco on Sukhumvit 53.

It is a place famous for its clean, tidy atmosphere and delicious food.

Thai cuisine mostly uses MSG, whereas Italian cuisine does not use MSG, so...

These days, Italian restaurants are really starting to get better. Hehe

The location is about 150 meters, or roughly a 15-minute walk, from the entrance of Sukumbit Soi 53.

Upon entering the restaurant, there is a sign in English reading "BARCO," and behind it, various awards received from different places are hanging.

It felt reassuring to know that the taste would be guaranteed to some extent.

You can enjoy it comfortably even when you're alone.

After all, in Bangkok, it's nice that I don't feel self-conscious when enjoying myself alone~

Appetizers are served first. I think it's nice that you don't have to wait for your ordered dishes when you're hungry.

My favorite dish from Italian cuisine~ Caesar salad

There are theories that it was invented by Cleopatra or by a restaurant owner named Caesar. Either way, it's delicious! hehe

The bowl is baked with toppings, making it unique... There's also the joy of tearing off pieces of bread to eat.

Marry's Sauce-seasoned Fried Clams

It may look like there's a lot, but the inside is actually quite small^^:

Hawaiian pizza toppings aren't too thick, so it's delicious.

Spaghetti is pretty unremarkable.

Carbonara, creamy yet light?

Did I just eat only what I felt like? I ordered vegetables because I was craving them, but the dish is bread again. Suddenly, the pressure is 100 times greater. Hahaha.

Strangely, I feel it would be rude to leave the ordered items behind ^^:

We have wine and dessert too... but we're full, so we'll stop here.

Four of us drank so much water... we must have had five bottles! haha

Caesar Salad 250 Baht, Marinated Mussels 480 Baht, Hawaiian Pizza 310 Baht, Carbonara 250 Baht,

Spaghetti 260 Baht, Fiori Salad 300 Baht

The total comes to 2,354 baht, including 200 baht for service charges and 154 baht in VAT, based on a base of 2,000 baht.

For four people, that price isn't that expensive, is it?

In Korea, this would easily cost around 200,000 won ^^:

It doesn't look very large from the outside, but once you go inside, it's quite spacious.

The building is divided into two sections: the left side is the smoking area, and the right side is the non-smoking area.

 Since the buildings are clearly distinguished, that's wonderful.

Overall, the food is quite delicious. If I were to rate it, I'd give it between 85 and 90 points?

Those who enjoy Italian cuisine might also consider visiting it at least once.
