This time, it's the most famous among Sombeun's seafood. Sura-wong I visited the branch.
If you've visited Thailand even once or twice, you'll surely know how famous it is. ^^
To reach Surowong Station, exit Gate 4 of BTS Gongsan Station and walk straight for about 10 minutes.
As you go straight, you'll come to this intersection...
As you walk straight up from the intersection, you'll see the Somfun Seafood building right across from you.
If you ask the bus driver, "Where is the foreigner ticket?" at Jongsun Station, you'll get a clear answer.
Please be cautious as Sombeun Food is 100% not Sombeun Dero. ^^:
In front, there is an aquarium where you can see shrimp and fish for sale.
It seems business is going well and the items are selling out quickly. Heh.
Since the most popular menu is Pad Pong Kari, there are so many crabs here! hehe
Even though there are so many people indoors, I received a number ticket and waited...
So this is the place with the big hit vibe~ Is that the feeling?
This is the second floor.
The second-floor stone path is packed with people lol. How can they just eat without saying a word like that.. ^^:
This team just ate without saying a word, so I thought they were Korean...
Later I realized they were Japanese people..^^:
Somfun's Food menu... The most popular main dishes are on the first page, hehe.
This Pakpung Paedeng, the favorite of Koreans, costs 120 baht, which isn't particularly cheap.
Today's main dish was Phad Pong Kari. It was incredibly delicious, with plump shrimp throughout.
Mixing it with rice and seasoned lightly is simply the best. Hehe, my mouth is still watering...
The menu looked beautifully designed, but the food we received seemed rushed—perhaps because they were so busy? It felt like something put together hastily.
Still, the taste was really good ㅎ
When Pak-bung-pai-deng asked me to remove the chili peppers because his friend who came with him couldn't eat spicy food,
A bit bland? Still, it sold out in no time... lol
I ordered this because it was labeled as "Jukbal" (boiled pig trotters), but the taste was really not great... I'd say this was a failed order.
Jokbal is Korean..^^:
Today's most popular menu item is Kongchaemppulla ~ Raw Shrimp Sashimi.
Our group loved it so much that it was all gone in the blink of an eye.. Yum~
The four of us ended up spending around 4,000 baht. We ordered way too many beers and ended up overpaying... ^^:
If you don't drink much alcohol, a budget of 500 to 600 baht per person should be sufficient.
There are a total of five Somfun locations in Bangkok.
Reservations can also be made on Somfun Seafood's official website. http://www.somboonseafood.com
