Review Information

Many people strangely seem to think it's odd to visit a Japanese restaurant after traveling to Bangkok...

If you're tired of Thai or Western cuisine, it's worth trying Torajiro, a Bangkok favorite for Japanese food, at least once.

Originally, this was not the main branch, but we moved a few months ago.

This is Nihonmachi, a district specializing in Japanese restaurants.

It is located at the very end of the first floor of Japan Village.

This is what the interior of the restaurant looks like.

It's newly relocated and tidy.

Upon entering, the counter is immediately on your right.

Koreans like narrow passages, you know ~ We do too, haha.

There are an enormous variety of dishes. Grilled fish, grilled squid, garlic grilled...

I think it tastes better when baked in the oven instead of being deep-fried. hehe

It also features squid balls and a bit of Thai fusion.

There are no foods we cannot eat due to strong flavors.

However, what to note is that although the quantity is small, the total amount at checkout can be quite substantial...^^:

In Korea, you can eat at a pub for just 20,000 to 30,000 won! hehe

The rain really set the mood.

The soju our team ordered is quite expensive. With the 700 KRW base price, plus tax and service charge...

It's almost 1,000 baht.

My favorite Kaijen salad... It seems like the most abundant and delicious one! ㅎ

The fried chicken is truly crispy; I've never failed to make it.

This vegetable is known as Kra Chiao (Thai), Okuyagi (Japanese), and Ladyfinger (Philippines).

Inside are seeds like those of a roach fish, and they are truly delicious.

At first, people refused to eat it because it tasted bad, but then they heard it has ten times the vitamin C of green peppers... so everyone... lol

This is Odol-bbwa tempura! I love Odol-bbwa so much, which is why I'm traveling with Ulil.

Does pork belly need the o-dol bone to be tasty? ^^:

It's like takoyaki sauce (similar to octopus sauce?).

Roasted Garlic (grilled in butter, truly savory and delicious.)

A tiny Thai gecko (찡쪽) is clinging to the window. Yeonggeun, the view outside the window is lovely. Hehe.

As long as you don't order anything expensive, it's still worth eating.
The soup was so good, it came to about 2,500 baht.

In Korean won, that's about 80,000 won... Is that expensive?

Feel free to stop by if you're visiting Bangkok.

Especially when it's late and you're unsure about having dinner, it's even better.

One of my favorite restaurants, personally! hehe

Toraji's headquarters is in Sukumbi 26, and it also has a branch in 29.

Both places are delicious and popular.
