Review Information

Located about 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Asukay Station, this place is more famous among Thai and Japanese people.

We visited Michelin 1-star restaurant Mitsumori in Tokyo.

When I arrived at the entrance, there was a pretty sign waiting for me! haha

The exterior interior had a neat, Japanese mansion-like feel.

Although not clearly visible in the photo, you can see colorful fish along the path leading in.

Alright, shall we go inside now?

The interior design blends a traditional feel with a modern touch, creating an atmospheric space.

This is a restaurant sign attached at the entrance, indicating that it is a Michelin 1-star restaurant.

The owner of this restaurant is famous for his family-style Japanese cuisine in Japan and Thailand. They say he's the owner of Otoya.

Actually, it felt more like a premium auto shop than a restaurant.

They say that if you book in advance, you can also have meals in the room. This is important for business occasions. That sounds wonderful.

You can watch the entire process of making this house's signature Soba Soba from start to finish.

You made it twice while I was cooking. It felt like a restaurant with a craftsman's spirit.

On the other side, there is a grill serving yakitori and various grilled dishes.

Most of the guests were from Thailand and Japan.

They said they cut the bonito flakes they found there themselves and served them to the customers.

It is said that trimming the meat slightly before serving enhances the flavor.

Me grilling skewers over charcoal.

Ah, I really want to eat it again ㅠ_ㅠ

We reserved a large table for the day since there were many people dining.

The special menu here!

It seemed like almost only Japanese customers were ordering, and everything was in Japanese.

Good food simply isn't complete without a drink (alcohol), haha!

Alright, let me briefly introduce the menu.

It's an appetizer menu. The light green part shown in the photo above is very delicious.

A fantastic harmony between yendubu and katsuo-bushi

Fried and grilled menu items.

Japanese Salad Menu

It says "kushiyaki," which refers to the type of skewer. There are truly many varieties.

Oh, there's shabu-shabu here too.

The most famous menu item here is soba noodles made with homemade soba.

It's a rice bowl menu.

Finally, the menu I ordered has arrived. I ordered the onsobae.

Onsoba, and the white sauce you see over there, actually contains boiled mackerel, seaweed, and dried shrimp.

It was a fascinating soba I'd never tried before. I noticed many Japanese people ordering and eating this dish! +_+

Our party ordered the onigoba and tempura together.

It's a vegetable tempura, but the size is overwhelming... I couldn't even finish it all ㅠ_ㅠ

Adding the ma sauce to the soba in one shot ~ looks delicious! hehe

It's katsudon. There's plenty of meat, so it's very delicious.

It's katsuo-bushi salad. The taste is very unique and delicious.

The skewers we've been waiting for! Can you see the green atop the white rice cakes?

I ate it without knowing and got scolded because it was spicy. Haha, it was wasabi.

It's grilled pork. The high-quality meat melts in your mouth, hehe.

Last but not least is the dessert! It's a matcha dessert.

Green tea Ice cream, jelly, and red bean paste are so delicious.

It tastes even better if you add maple syrup!

Overall, the prices are higher than those of home-style Japanese restaurants, and the food tends to take a bit longer to arrive.

However, the price, restaurant ambiance, and service all seem to be top-notch.

Tired of Thai food? How about this place? Haha
