Isn't visiting an observation deck to see the night view an essential part of a city tour? ^^

Of course, there are such observation decks in Bangkok too~

This is the observation deck of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest building in Bangkok city center.

Here, you can enjoy a free view from the observation deck by dining at an affordable dinner buffet.

It is well known as a representative sightseeing spot for Bangkok's night view. 

I got off at Lachateui Station and took a taxi.

I wondered why the taxi was heading to such a strange market, and then...

It turns out the BAYOC Sky Hotel is right next to the main market street...

This hotel has many Indian guests, is quite old, and therefore rarely hosts Korean visitors.

This is an elevator. There are many people here, especially Chinese people.

I had previously thought it was on the 18th floor, but today I went to the 19th floor.

I was even able to buy a ticket for the 19th floor~

Upon presenting the voucher received after advance reservation, they exchanged it for a ticket.

It looks a bit quieter compared to the 18th floor~

I received the ticket like this after verifying with Baucheur~

I had booked rooms on the 81st and 82nd floors, but unfortunately, they were already fully booked, so I ended up using the 78th floor. 

Floors 81 and 82 tend to be more popular with individual guests, while floors 76 and 78 are more frequented by group visitors, 

I'd like to recommend the 81st and 82nd floors.

According to the information I gathered, I was told to go to the 78th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 77th floor~

Take the elevator to the 77th floor for the dinner buffet and walk to the 78th floor.

It only goes up to the 77th floor~^^

Upon descending to the 77th floor, you will find an indoor staircase located centrally within the room that leads upward to the floor above.

Here, we go up one more floor to enjoy the 78th-floor dinner buffet~

It's the 78th floor.

I've entered the buffet~

I was in a state of mild dissociation around 6:30 PM, but it lasted until about 8 PM.

Since there were many groups, the two of us were assigned seats in the far corner 😞

Now, let's take a look at what food we have~

The food isn't particularly fancy, but there's an enormous variety!

If you want to try them all, you'll need to be careful with your portion control^^

My feelings about the food are...

It feels like a buffet at that wedding hall.

It may not be that high-end,

There are quite a variety of types, and some of the dishes are delicious~

Considering the price, I think it's worth a try!!

Alright, now that we've finished our meal, shall we head up to the viewing deck?

It is not difficult to go to the viewing deck after finishing your meal.

Just wave your hand to indicate you want to go up, and the elevator will guide you automatically~^^

Although it can be viewed from all 360 degrees,

On the day I visited, part of it was under construction, so only about 180 degrees was open.

The Bangkok night view isn't quite there yet...

I think it's worth visiting as a memorable sight when you come to a city that is a tourist destination.

The price isn't that high either, so it seems like a good deal ^^
