Review Information

We visited Yakiniku King Kong, a Japanese-style barbecue restaurant.

"Yaki" means grilling, and "nikku" refers to meat, typically beef. Heh.

The exterior looks like this... I was surprised by how large it is, bigger than I expected. Hehe.

Since Ekamai Station is a bit far, you will need to travel by taxi or motorcycle taxi.

You can simply say "Ekkamai Saei 20-hok," which refers to the Ahan King Kong.

The business hours are from 11:00 to 11:00, which is a bit later than usual.

The interior looks like this.

It seems all tables are pre-set like this. Hehe.

You can order the menu items listed there without limit.

All of us in our group are meat lovers, so we probably ordered several times. ^^:

The downside is... perhaps because I ate too much, the quality of the meat gradually declined compared to the first batch served.

There are multiple locations of the 1-person 520-baht chain.

It seems Rama 9, Silom, Ratchawithi, Mongkhon, Chaloem Phra Kiat, and Phra Khanong are set to open soon~

Since it's a chain store, the taste is mostly the same, so you can just go to the nearest one.

There is ssal-ryang-tang broth with rice, salmon stew, clam stew, and more.

It also includes ice cream and sweet red bean shaved ice that can be used for oral hygiene after eating.

However, beer and additional beverages are extra.

After ordering meat, they give you a seasoning container like this.

Minced garlic, minced chili peppers, gochujang, etc...

The sauce is generously seasoned with soy sauce, chili, and steamed garlic.

Gochujang is truly a delight with its spicy kick.

The ordered meat has arrived. Since the meat is thinly sliced, it cooks immediately and is perfect for eating quickly.

I also ordered shrimp, and since the shells were all peeled off, they were easy to eat.

The slothful me, who really hates peeling shells... heh, it fits me perfectly.

Grilled meat, grilled onions, grilled mussels... Personally, I found the mussels to be the most delicious.

This is salmon soup... just not very tasty. ^^:

520 baht × 6 people = 3,120; the remaining 389 baht is for 3 beers.

Including tax, there's no separate service charge. With a 20-baht tip included, the total is 3,530 baht, which comes to approximately 110,000 KRW at the current exchange rate.

Six gluttons ate in silence... how much they must have consumed! ^^:

It's not as delicious as the beef you'd eat at a Korean restaurant, but it's a nice treat to go there once in a while when the price of meat feels a bit steep.

It's best to book in advance, as the venue is fully booked on weekends and you'll have to wait.
