- The Mini Gobi Desert is about a 5-hour drive west of Ulaanbaatar. Enjoy sweeping grasslands, an endless blue-sky horizon, and fluffy clouds along the way. Once you arrive, you can go horseback riding and enjoy a camel experience.
- 📍Free time at the sand dunes
- Climb the sand dunes barefoot and take in the otherworldly scenery. If you have time, stop by Altai Camp next to the dunes for a coffee or beer. 🍺
- 📍Watch the sunset over the grasslands
- Take a moment to admire the beautiful sunset over the vast steppe on your way back to the city.

- Travel to the Mini Desert (approximately 3 hours)
See horses, cattle, sheep, and goats living on the steppe along the way.
- Stop at a rest area for a break.
- Travel to the Mini Desert sand dunes (approximately 2 hours)
- 14:00 Take photos among the sand dunes and enjoy a camel ride and horseback riding experience.
Upon arrival at the Mini Desert, enjoy photo opportunities on the sand dunes and a camel ride.

- 16:00 End of the tour and return to the city (approximately 5 hours)
After the desert tour, travel back to Ulaanbaatar and enjoy the sunset along the way.

- This tour operates only during the summer season, from May to October, and is unavailable from November to April.

Sunset or stargazing may be limited in June and July due to natural conditions, including the weather, cloud cover, and seasonal factors.
Please check the sunset time for your travel dates before your visit. - No refunds, compensation, or itinerary changes will be offered if sunset or stargazing is unavailable.
- The tour may be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not met 1–2 days before the tour date. We’ll contact you individually if the tour cannot go ahead.
- The tour departs on time. If you arrive late for the scheduled meeting time, you will be marked as a no-show and will not be eligible for changes or a refund.
- Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included. Please arrive at the designated Meeting Point at least 10 minutes before the meeting time.
