Overview
Visit Taiqing Palace, the heart of Laoshan’s Taoist culture, and the Yangkou Scenic Area, known for its stunning mountain and sea views, all in one day.

Transfer to a sightseeing shuttle at the Dahedong Tourist Center to visit Taiqing Palace and the statue of Laozi. Then follow the coastal road via the Huayan Scenic Area to Yangkou. Take the cable car up the mountain and hike to the Tianyuan viewpoint for breathtaking views of Laoshan and the Yellow Sea.

Your Korean-speaking Guide will accompany you inside the attractions and assist with transportation and sightseeing.
[Yangkou Tianyuan Scenic Viewpoint Information]
The Yangkou cable car does not go directly to the Tianyuan Viewpoint. After getting off at the upper station, you’ll need to continue on foot along mountain paths and stairs.

Depending on conditions on the day and your fitness level, you may take either the Mitian Cave route or the detour route.

1. Mitian Cave Route

From the cable car’s upper station, follow mountain paths and stairs through Mitian Cave, then continue to the Tianyuan Viewpoint.

Mitian Cave is a natural cave formed among huge rocks. Its passageways are narrow and dark, and in some sections you’ll need to crouch or use your hands to get through. The route includes many stairs and steep slopes, making it relatively strenuous, but it offers a close-up experience of Yangkou’s unique natural landscape.

This route is not recommended for guests with claustrophobia or limited mobility, older guests, or guests traveling with infants or young children.

2. Detour Route

This route bypasses the inside of Mitian Cave and follows an outdoor trail and stairs to the viewpoint.

The path is more open than the Mitian Cave route, but it still includes mountain trails and stairs, so comfortable shoes are essential. The area accessible at the Tianyuan Viewpoint may vary depending on site restrictions and trail conditions.

※ The final route will be decided in consultation with your Guide on the day, taking into account the weather, attraction restrictions, crowd levels, and your fitness level.
[Cable Car Information]
A round-trip Yangkou cable car ticket is included.

After getting off the cable car, you’ll still need to walk and climb stairs to reach the Tianyuan viewing area.

Cable car service may be suspended due to local conditions, such as strong winds, rain, or facility inspections.

If the cable car is not operating, the route may be changed to a walking course or the itinerary adjusted, depending on the attraction’s operating conditions.
[Transportation within the attraction]
Access to Laoshan’s scenic-area roads is restricted to authorized vehicles.

Transfer to a sightseeing shuttle at Dahedong Tourist Center. After visiting Taiqing Palace, take another sightseeing shuttle to the Yangkou Scenic Area. Once your visit to Yangkou is complete, meet your private vehicle driver again at the exit.

Wait times for sightseeing shuttles and the cable car may be longer during peak season and on public holidays.
🥾 [Required Items and Important Information for the Tour]
Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes (required)
Walking is an essential part of the Laoshan tour. For a safe and comfortable hike and sightseeing experience, please wear comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes with non-slip soles. Avoid high heels or uncomfortable footwear.

Clothing and gear for outdoor activities
Temperatures in the mountains can vary more than in the city, so we recommend bringing an outer layer that’s easy to put on and take off. Many parts of the tour are outdoors in strong sunlight, so sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a parasol can help make your tour more comfortable.
