This beach is popular with Western visitors staying in Hoi An Old Town, thanks to its proximity. Lined with beachside restaurants, it’s a favorite spot to enjoy a meal, drinks, or beer while looking out over the sea.

Understanding a country’s cuisine is a way to understand its culture. Learning to prepare dishes from another country makes a special memory for both children and adults.

Spend about an hour making spring rolls, papaya salad, and bánh xèo. Even if it’s your first time cooking Vietnamese food, you’ll find it surprisingly easy and fun—and you’ll be able to make the dishes again when you return to Korea.

After the class, enjoy a meal featuring the dishes you’ve prepared.

Coconut Village was once a riverside retreat for local residents and soldiers. It was also well known as a place where locals enjoyed fishing from basket boats.

Today, basket boats have become a local icon of Hoi An, and visitors come to experience riding in one rather than to fish. As you ride through the village, you can explore its wetland ecosystem, watch local fishermen at work, and enjoy a basket boat show.

Estimated duration: 45 minutes for the basket boat experience.

Tour ends with return to the hotel.

Two of Hoi An’s best-known experiences are riding a cyclo through the Old Town and floating a wishing candle on the river. A cyclo is a bicycle-powered rickshaw. Take a ride around Hoi An Old Town to enjoy a different view and discover little pleasures you might miss on foot.

As evening falls, the Old Town lights up with colorful lanterns and lights. Along the river, you can take in the sight of countless glowing candles. Float a candle carrying your wish and add one more special memory to your time in Hoi An.
