Ba Dinh Square, located in front of the famous Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, is one of the most popular historical sites in Hanoi. The Central Committee Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam is situated to the north of the square, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters to the south, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum to the west, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum to the east.
