This flat landscape, also known as the Valley of the Sun, was formed from the terraced terrain created by lava from Taiwan’s Mt. Zhugushan.
- Lengshuikeng
The area around Lengshuikeng was once a lake formed by lava dams from Qixing Mountain (七星山) and Qigu Mountain (七股山). After the lake’s outflow dried up, the lakebed was exposed, creating the landscape seen today.
The hot spring water here is 40℃—much cooler than that of other hot springs—so the area is called Lengshuikeng, meaning “cold water pit.”
- Daidunshan Natural Park (Volcanic Terrain)
Datun Nature Park is located in the northwestern part of Datun Mountain at approximately 800 meters above sea level. It is a natural park formed through vegetation restoration, best known for its temperate broadleaf forests and volcanic crater.
The Lengshuikeng Trail takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and features several worthwhile sights, including Milk Pond, Jingshan Bridge, and the Lengshuikeng Ecological Wetland.
- Xiaoyoukeng
Xiaoyoukeng is known for its fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and dramatic collapsed terrain formed after volcanic activity.
- Shilin Night Market
Taipei’s largest night market landmark and Taiwan’s most visited night market. It has been recognized as one of Taiwan’s signature night markets.

*Meeting Information
Location: The driver will be waiting at the hotel’s main entrance on the first floor, facing the road.
Depending on the hotel layout, the lobby may not be on the first floor or the hotel may not have a parking lot. In such cases, the Meeting Point will be on the road outside the main entrance.
Multiple Meeting Points: An additional fee may apply if there are two or more Meeting Points. Please inquire in advance when making your reservation.
*Tour Information
- The driver will provide transportation, directions to the attractions, and assistance with taking simple photos. Accompaniment inside the attractions and professional tour commentary are not provided.
- On weekends, public holidays, and busy days, vehicle access to areas around some attractions may be restricted due to local traffic controls or limited stopping availability. In such cases, you may need to get off at an available drop-off location and walk part of the way.
- The duration of each stop and the itinerary order may change depending on traffic and conditions at the attractions on the day of the tour.
*Overtime Charges (paid on-site)
Standard car: 300 TWD per 30 minutes / 600 TWD per hour
Van (large): 350 TWD per 30 minutes / 700 TWD per hour - 🙌 Please note: A gratuity is appreciated.
