-
Under tourism regulations, access by regular buses is restricted, and these vehicle restrictions apply to all tour operators.
Applicable days: weekends, Taiwan public holidays, and weekdays when traffic is heavy (as determined by the Tourism Bureau based on local conditions).
After getting off the bus, vehicles, motorcycles, and city buses will continue to pass through the area. Please check your surroundings carefully and move around safely.
Be sure to confirm the meeting time and location provided by your Guide.
If you leave the tour before it ends, the tour will conclude once the final settlement with your Guide has been completed. Any plans afterward will be handled independently. - ⚠️ Information on Purchasing Travel Insurance in Taiwan
-
Taiwan local one-day travel insurance is mandatory. Coverage applies only to vehicle accidents, injuries, or death that occur during the scheduled tour hours on the day of participation. Loss of or damage to personal belongings is not covered.
To arrange the insurance, you must provide the required information, including your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, at least two business days before the tour date. If a weekend or public holiday falls within this period, the information must be provided at least three days in advance.
Insurance cannot be arranged on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.
If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, local travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the Taiwan local land operator is not responsible for any resulting disadvantages.
Claims under the Taiwan local travel insurance must be submitted with the original medical certificate and hospital receipts issued after receiving treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether compensation will be paid is determined following a review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.
If you do not receive treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, you may be unable to file a claim later. Please make sure to seek medical attention on the same day.
The payment timeline may vary depending on the insurer’s review, but it generally takes at least three weeks.
Coverage under local travel insurance may differ from that of overseas travel insurance purchased in Korea. We recommend taking out separate overseas travel insurance in Korea. - 🧳 Luggage Information
-
Each guest may bring one 26-inch suitcase and one small bag that can be placed on their lap.
If you plan to bring a suitcase, please contact us in advance.
Items exceeding the luggage compartment’s capacity cannot be loaded and are non-refundable.
Large items such as strollers, wheelchairs, and golf bags cannot be loaded. - 👥 Vehicle and Seating Information
-
The vehicle will be assigned as either a mid-size bus or a large bus, depending on the number of guests on the day of the tour.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and specific seats cannot be reserved. - 💡 Additional Information
-
Infants and children are included in the passenger count.
Baby seats are not provided. If needed, please bring your own.
If you leave the tour early, the tour ends once the final settlement with the Guide is completed. Any plans after that will be your own responsibility. - 🙌 How much should I tip?
- Since tipping is not customary for many of us, you may be unsure about how much to give. Tipping is not required in Taiwan, but some guests choose to offer a small tip to the driver and Guide as a token of appreciation. If you enjoyed the tour, a tip of around 100–300 TWD per group is a thoughtful gesture.
