- Additional Information & Notes
- Important Information
-
The entire itinerary is self-guided, and no Guide will accompany you.
All passengers must present a valid original passport to board. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the cruise return date.
As every cruise guest must occupy a bed, select a 2-, 3-, or 4-person cabin according to the number of passengers.
Infant fare: Infants aged 6 months to under 2 years qualify for the infant fare only when staying in the same cabin as two adults in a 3- or 4-person occupancy arrangement. Cruise service charges are waived.
If the third or fourth passenger in a cabin is an infant aged 6 months to under 2 years, submit the booking number and the infant’s name via the official LINE account (@asiayo.com) no later than 14 days before departure. A refund will be processed after verification.
No refund will be issued if the fare for the third or fourth passenger on the sailing is lower than the infant fare.
As the system cannot determine eligibility automatically, passengers must apply for the refund themselves even after submitting their passport details.
Minors under 18 cannot travel alone. Each cabin must include at least one adult aged 18 or older.
Pregnant passengers must be less than 24 weeks pregnant on the boarding date to board the cruise.
Passengers with disabilities must be able to care for themselves or travel with a companion who can assist them throughout the entire journey. Any required medication must be brought by the passenger.
The cruise has a medical center and medical staff. Reasonable medical charges will apply if treatment is required during the cruise.
Immigration and departure regulations related to military service are subject to government agencies and current laws.
The listed fares apply only to passengers holding Taiwan passports. Passengers holding foreign passports must submit a copy of an employment certificate or residence permit when booking to receive the discount.
Visa and immigration regulations may change by country. Check with the relevant country’s embassy or official representative before departure. Final entry requirements are subject to announcements issued by the government of the destination country.
To secure your booking and associated benefits, you must pay the cabin booking amount and provide an accurate passenger list, including passport copies, when entering into the contract.
A limited number of 3- and 4-person cabins are available. However, no cabin can accommodate an extra bed, so confirm the number of passengers when booking. Cabin changes are not permitted after the booking is completed. - Passport Information
- Before booking, please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months. You must submit a scanned copy of the original passport at least 60 days before departure. (For bookings made within 60 days of departure, valid passport details must be provided promptly.)
- Booking Information and Important Notes
-
The rates apply only to holders of Taiwan passports. Holders of foreign passports must submit a copy of an employment certificate or residence permit when booking to qualify for the discount.
To confirm the booking and protect both parties’ rights, travelers must pay a deposit (booking deposit) and provide an accurate passenger list, including passport copies.
The actual cabin booking is subject to the cruise company’s confirmation. If the cabins are sold out or the booking cannot be confirmed—including cases where the requested cabin type is unavailable or the cabin benefits change—the travel agency will issue a full, interest-free refund of the deposit paid.
Once our staff confirms that the requested cabin has been secured, the contract is considered concluded. Afterward, travelers may not request changes or cancellations at their discretion. Cancellation or change fees will apply to the deposit or booking deposit in accordance with the contract terms.
If the cruise company notifies us that cabins are unavailable during the booking process, the cabin category may be changed with the passenger’s consent. If the category is downgraded, the price difference will be refunded; if it is upgraded, the passenger must pay the difference. - Cost and Itinerary Changes
-
World Scenic Cruise reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary, schedule, vessel, or price without prior notice in the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters or severe weather.
If the cruise or shore excursions are canceled due to environmental factors, refunds will be issued in accordance with the cruise company’s announced policy.
Arrival times at each port may be adjusted based on the actual sailing time, and no prior notice will be provided for itinerary changes. - Cabin Booking, Changes, and Cancellation Policy
-
When placing a booking through the travel agency, passengers must pay the deposit to confirm their cabin reservation.
If the deposit and remaining balance are not paid by the specified deadlines, the travel agency reserves the right to cancel the cabin reservation.
All changes and cancellations for individual and group bookings are valid only when submitted in writing. - Reservation Change Policy
-
Any changes to the sailing, departure date, cabin category, or promotion will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking, and fees will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy.
The original discount benefits will not apply to the revised booking. The cabin rate available at the time of rebooking will apply.
Changes made within 14 days of departure will be treated as cancellations, and a fee equal to 100% of the cabin rate will be charged.
After the booking has been confirmed, changes to passenger information will incur a fee of NT$1,000 per person. At least one passenger from the original booking must remain in the cabin. If all passengers in the cabin are changed, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
Costs incurred for cabin changes, downgrades, room replacements, departure date changes, cancellations, and other modifications will be considered confirmed charges. These costs will not be refundable in the event of subsequent itinerary changes or cancellations due to force majeure.
If the itinerary includes public holidays, advance notice is required, and international cruise date calculation rules must be followed.
Once a booking for certain sailings or special periods, including year-end, Lunar New Year, and holiday periods, has been confirmed, it cannot be canceled. Cancellations will incur a fee equal to 100% of the cabin rate.
For passenger safety and other related matters, the cruise line reserves the right to screen passengers before boarding.
Passengers with disabilities must notify us in advance. The cruise line may be able to provide special assistance.
This is an independent trip for which departure is possible with just one passenger. No Guide will accompany passengers in Taiwan. Passengers must complete boarding and immigration procedures themselves, with guidance and assistance from cruise staff.
Special requests must be made in advance. Specific cabin floors, numbers, layouts, or locations cannot be guaranteed, and cabins for accompanying passengers may not be adjacent. Final cabin assignments are at the cruise line’s discretion.
The facilities listed are for reference only. Facilities may be added or closed on the cruise without prior notice.
In the event of natural disasters or severe weather, the route, schedule, vessel, or price may be changed without prior notice.
Arrival times at each port may be adjusted according to the actual sailing time. No prior notice will be provided for itinerary changes.
