Additional Information & Notes
Important Notes
The entire itinerary is self-guided, and no Guide will accompany you.

All passengers must have a valid original passport to board. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the cruise return date.

As every cruise cabin requires each guest to occupy a bed, you must select a 2-, 3-, or 4-person cabin according to the number of passengers in your booking.

Infant fare: Infants aged 6 months to under 2 years are eligible for the infant fare only when staying in the same cabin as two adults in a 3- or 4-person occupancy arrangement. The cruise service fee is waived.

If the third or fourth passenger in a cabin is an infant aged 6 months to under 2 years, submit the booking number and the infant’s name via the official LINE (@asiayo.com) no later than 14 days before departure. A refund will be processed after verification.

If the fare for the third or fourth passenger on the sailing is lower than the infant fare, no refund will be issued.

As the system cannot process this automatically, passengers must apply for the refund themselves even after submitting their passport information.

Minors under 18 may not travel alone. Each cabin must include at least one adult aged 18 or older.

Pregnant passengers may board only if they are under 24 weeks pregnant on the boarding date.

Passengers with disabilities must be able to care for themselves or travel with a companion who can assist them throughout the trip. Any medication they require must be brought with them.

The cruise has a medical center and medical staff. Reasonable medical fees will apply if treatment is required during the cruise.

Immigration and entry/exit regulations related to military service are subject to the requirements of government authorities and applicable laws.

The listed fares apply only to passengers holding Taiwan passports. Passengers holding foreign passports must submit a copy of an employment certificate or residence permit at the time of booking to receive the discount.

Visa and entry/exit requirements may change. Please check with the relevant embassy or official representative before departure. Final entry requirements are subject to announcements by the government of the destination country.

To secure your booking and associated benefits, you must pay the cabin reservation amount and provide an accurate passenger list, including passport copies, when entering into the contract.

A limited number of 3- and 4-person cabins are available. However, extra beds cannot be provided in any cabin, so please confirm the number of passengers when booking. Cabin changes are not permitted after the booking is completed.
Passport Information
Before booking, please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel date. You must submit a scanned copy of your original passport at least 60 days before departure. (For bookings made within 60 days of departure, valid passport details must be provided promptly.)
Booking Information and Important Notes
The fare applies only to holders of Taiwan passports. Holders of foreign passports must submit a copy of an employment certificate or residence permit when booking to qualify for the discount.

To confirm a booking and protect both parties’ rights and interests, travelers must pay a deposit and provide an accurate passenger list, including passport copies, at the time of booking.

The final cabin reservation is subject to the cruise company’s confirmation. If the ship is fully booked or the reservation cannot be confirmed—including cases where the requested cabin type is unavailable or cabin benefits have changed—the travel agency will issue a full, interest-free refund of the deposit paid.

Once the assigned staff member confirms that the requested cabin has been secured, the contract is considered concluded. After that, travelers may not request changes or cancellations at their discretion, and cancellation or change fees will be charged on the deposit in accordance with the contract terms.

If the cruise company reports insufficient cabin availability during the booking process, the cabin category may be changed with the passenger’s consent. Any price difference for a downgrade will be refunded, while the passenger must pay the difference for an upgrade.
Cost and itinerary changes
Global Scenic Cruises reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary, schedule, ship, or price without prior notice in the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters or severe weather.

If the cruise or shore excursions are canceled due to environmental factors, the refund amount will be determined according to the cruise company’s official policy.

Arrival times at each port may vary depending on the actual sailing time, and no advance notice will be provided for schedule changes.
Cabin Booking, Change, and Cancellation Policy
When entrusting a booking, passengers must pay the deposit to confirm their cabin reservation.

If the deposit and remaining balance are not received by the specified deadlines, the travel agency reserves the right to cancel the cabin reservation.

All changes and cancellations for individual and group bookings are valid only when notified in writing.
Reservation Change Policy
Changes to the sailing, departure date, cabin category, or promotion will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking, and fees will be charged according to the cancellation policy.

The original discounts will not apply to the revised booking. The cabin fare available at the time of the new booking will apply.

Changes made within 14 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation, and a fee equal to 100% of the cabin fare will be charged.

After the booking is confirmed, changes to passenger information will incur a fee of NT$1,000 per person. At least one passenger in the cabin must remain as an original booking holder; changes to all passengers in the cabin will be treated as a cancellation.

Any costs incurred for cabin changes, downgrades, room replacements, departure date changes, cancellations, or other changes will be considered finalized once confirmed. They will not be refundable in the event of subsequent itinerary changes or cancellations due to force majeure.

If public holidays fall within the applicable period, advance notice is required, and international cruise date-calculation rules must be followed.

For certain sailings or special periods, including year-end, Lunar New Year, and holiday periods, cancellations are not permitted after the booking is confirmed. Cancellations will incur a fee equal to 100% of the cabin fare.

For passenger safety and related matters, the cruise line reserves the right to screen passengers before boarding.

Passengers with disabilities must provide advance notice. The cruise line may be able to provide special assistance.

This is an independent trip with departure possible for one person. No Guide will accompany passengers in Taiwan. Passengers must complete boarding and immigration procedures themselves, with assistance and directions provided by cruise staff.

Special requests must be made in advance. Specific cabin floors, numbers, layouts, or locations cannot be guaranteed, and companion cabins may not be adjacent. Final cabin assignments are at the cruise line’s discretion.

The facilities listed are for reference only. Facilities may be added or closed on board without prior notice.

In the event of natural disasters or severe weather, the route, schedule, vessel, or price may change without prior notice.

Arrival times at each port may be adjusted according to the actual sailing time. No prior notice will be provided for itinerary changes.

The cancellation policy above must comply with World Scenic Cruise regulations. Please ensure that you fully understand it before completing your purchase.
