☀️ Handy Tips for Your Summer Trip to Taiwan
Taiwan’s summers are hot, with frequent sudden showers. We often provide spare umbrellas and bottled water in the vehicle, but supplies may vary by vehicle. For a more comfortable and enjoyable trip, we recommend bringing a small umbrella for your parents and your own drinks.
💡 Information on Purchasing Local Travel Insurance
Taiwan local one-day travel insurance is mandatory. Coverage applies only to vehicle accidents and any resulting injury or death that occur during the scheduled tour time on the day of participation. Loss of or damage to personal belongings is not covered.

Please provide all required information for insurance enrollment, including your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, at least 2 business days before the participation date. If weekends or public holidays fall within this period, the information must be provided at least 3 days in advance.

Insurance enrollment is not available on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.

If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, Taiwan local travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the local land operator in Taiwan is not responsible for any resulting disadvantages.

Claims under Taiwan local travel insurance must be submitted based on the original medical certificate and hospital payment receipts issued after receiving treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether compensation is paid will be determined following a review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.

If you do not receive medical treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, you may not be able to file a claim later. Please be sure to seek medical attention on the day of the accident.

The payout timeline may vary depending on the insurer’s review and generally takes at least 3 weeks.
🙌 Please note: Tipping guidelines
Taiwan does not have a mandatory tipping culture, but it is common to offer a gratuity to the driver and Guide as a token of appreciation for their safe driving and efforts in managing the tour.

If you enjoyed the tour, we would appreciate it if you could give the driver and Guide a tip of around 500–1,000 TWD per group directly.

Tipping is entirely optional, but it is a meaningful encouragement and support for the driver and Guide. 😊
