-
Taiwan local one-day travel insurance is mandatory. Coverage applies only to vehicle accidents, and any resulting injury or death, that occur during the scheduled tour time on the day of participation. Loss of or damage to personal belongings is not covered.
To arrange the insurance, you must provide the required information, including your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, by at least two business days before the participation date. If weekends or public holidays are included, the information must be provided at least three days in advance.
Insurance cannot be arranged on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.
If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, local travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the local Taiwan ground operator is not responsible for any resulting disadvantages.
Claims under the Taiwan local travel insurance must be submitted based on the original medical certificate and hospital payment receipts issued after receiving treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether compensation is paid will be determined after review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.
If you do not receive treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, you may be unable to file a claim later. Please be sure to seek medical attention on the day of the accident.
The payment date may vary depending on the insurer’s review process and generally takes at least three weeks.
Coverage under local travel insurance may differ from that of overseas travel insurance purchased in Korea. We recommend purchasing separate overseas travel insurance in Korea. - 🧳 Luggage Information
-
Each guest may bring one 26-inch suitcase and one small bag that can be placed on their lap.
If you plan to bring a suitcase, please contact us in advance.
Items that exceed the available luggage compartment space cannot be loaded and are non-refundable.
Large items such as strollers, wheelchairs, and golf bags cannot be loaded. - 👥 Vehicle and Seating Information
- Depending on the number of guests on the day, you will be assigned a midsize or large bus. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
- 💡 Additional Information
-
Infants and children are included in the passenger count.
Baby seats are not provided. If needed, please bring your own.
If you leave the tour early, the tour will end once the final settlement with the Guide has been completed. Any plans after that will be at your own discretion. - 🙌 How does tipping work?
-
Since tipping may not be familiar to everyone, deciding how much to give can be a little tricky.
Tipping is not required in Taiwan, but some travelers give the driver and Guide a small tip as a gesture of appreciation. If you enjoyed the tour, a customary tip of around 100–300 Taiwan dollars per group is appropriate.
