💡Information on Purchasing Travel Insurance in Taiwan
Taiwan local 1-day travel insurance is mandatory and covers only vehicle accidents that occur during the scheduled tour hours on the day of participation, as well as injury or death resulting from such accidents. (Loss of or damage to personal belongings is not covered.)

To arrange the insurance, you must provide the required information, including your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, at least 2 business days before the participation date—or 3 days in advance if weekends or public holidays are included.

Insurance cannot be arranged on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.

If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, the Taiwan local travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the Taiwan local ground operator is not responsible for any resulting disadvantages.

Claims under the Taiwan local travel insurance must be filed based on the original medical certificate and hospital receipts issued after receiving treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether benefits are paid will be determined following a review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.

Please make sure to seek medical treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, as you may not be able to file a claim later if you do not receive treatment that day.

The payment period may vary depending on the insurer’s review and generally takes at least 3 weeks.
🙌 Please note: Tipping guidelines
Taiwan does not require tipping, but it is customary to offer a tip as a token of appreciation to the driver for ensuring your safety and helping the tour run smoothly.

If you enjoyed the tour, we would appreciate it if you could give the driver a tip of around 200–500TWD per group directly.

Tipping is entirely optional, but it serves as meaningful encouragement and support for the driver. 😊
