Important Notes
▶This ticket is for the purchaser only and is non-transferable.
▶Passenger information cannot be changed after booking. Please enter the exact details shown on your passport, including your name in English, date of birth, gender, and passport number.
Once your booking is confirmed, changes and cancellations are not permitted. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.
▶Lost, damaged, or stolen passes cannot be reissued.
▶The voucher is valid for 89 days from the date of issue. Once exchanged for a pass, it must be used within 30 days.
▶This ticket is available only to foreign visitors staying in Taiwan for up to 180 days or entering Taiwan under a visa exemption.
Foreign nationals holding a Taiwan residence permit for educational or employment purposes are not eligible.
▶To use this ticket, the purchaser must present the redemption code, passport, and valid, current documents required to enter Taiwan (e.g., a visa, visa-exemption stamp, or Taiwan entry/exit permit).
▶Passengers with dual Taiwanese citizenship must present a passport from their non-Taiwanese nationality, along with valid, up-to-date documents permitting entry into Taiwan.

▶This product does not include an assigned seat.
If you would like to travel in a reserved seat, you can select one at the ticket counter at no additional charge.
(Seat reservations are unavailable on Taiwan public holidays. Availability is also subject to confirmation on the day, depending on the circumstances.)
▶ Physical tickets can be exchanged at High Speed Rail ticket counters throughout Taiwan.
When exchanging your ticket, please bring the required documents: your voucher, passport, and any relevant documents. Each member of the group, including the primary booking holder and accompanying travelers, must bring their own documents.
▶ If you miss your originally scheduled train, please speak to a staff member at the station where you board to have your ticket changed to a non-reserved seat.
Once on board, you may sit in any available seat or stand at the entrance to the carriage.

【Non-Reserved Seats】Present your passport and High-Speed Rail Pass to a station staff member for inspection, then board your preferred train and sit in a non-reserved seat.
【Reserved Seats】Reserve your seat in advance at the ticket counter before boarding. (Business Class is not included.)
**This pass can be used for both non-reserved and reserved seats. Business Class is not available.
**To use a reserved seat, visit the ticket sales counter in advance to make a reservation at no additional cost.
**If you require a wheelchair-accessible seat, please make a reservation at the ticket office of a Taiwan High-Speed Rail station.

- Infants : 0~5age / Children : 6~11age / Adults : 12age~
- Children under 115 cm tall and infants and children aged 0–5 may ride free of charge if they do not require a separate seat, but must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased an adult ticket. Children who are 115 cm or taller or aged 6–11 must purchase a child ticket. Please present your passport when purchasing the ticket. Passengers aged 12 and over are considered adults and must purchase an adult ticket.

- How to Exchange and Reserve Your Ticket

【Step 1】
Once your order is placed, the product cannot be changed. When booking, please enter the traveler’s name in English, gender, date of birth, passport number, and nationality.
Children under 6 who do not occupy a seat may travel free of charge.
【Step 2】
After your booking is completed, a confirmation and attachment will be sent by email. The attachment is an electronic boarding pass displaying your exchange code. You must exchange the electronic boarding pass for a physical pass and begin using it within 89 days from the day after the purchase date.
**The voucher is valid for 89 days from the date of issue. After exchanging it for a pass, you must use the pass within 30 days.
【Step 3】
Use the exchange code in the email attachment to select and reserve your travel date, train, and departure time in advance through “Manage Orders” on the official Taiwan High Speed Rail Pass website.
Reservations can be made from 00:00 on the day of booking up to 29 days in advance. On Fridays and Saturdays, exchanges can be made for travel dates up to the Sunday four weeks later, based on Taiwan time.
After completing your reservation, check your reservation code and present it when collecting your pass.
**Seats are assigned randomly after you select a train. Train numbers and specific seats cannot be selected.
**You can make a reservation using the order number shown on the voucher sent by email.
【Step 4】
On the day of departure, present your reservation code, original passport, and proof of entry (such as a supporting visa or Taiwan entry permit) at a Taiwan High Speed Rail staffed ticket counter to exchange them for a physical ticket.
If you have not completed an online reservation, staff at the staffed ticket counter can assist you with the reservation.
