-
Taiwan local one-day travel insurance is mandatory. Coverage is limited to vehicle accidents and resulting injury or death that occur during the tour hours on the day of participation. (Loss or damage to personal belongings is not covered.)
The required information for insurance enrollment, including your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, must be provided at least 2 weekdays before the participation date, or 3 days in advance if a weekend or public holiday falls within this period.
Insurance enrollment is not available on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.
If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, Taiwan local travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the Taiwan local ground operator will not be responsible for any resulting disadvantages.
Claims for Taiwan local travel insurance must be submitted based on the original medical certificate and hospital payment receipts issued after receiving treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether the insurance benefit will be paid is determined after review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.
If you do not receive medical treatment at a medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, you may not be able to file a claim later. Please be sure to seek medical attention on the day of the accident.
The payment period may vary depending on the insurer’s review and generally takes at least 3 weeks. - 🙌 How do tips work?
-
Taiwan does not require tipping, but many guests choose to give a tip as a gesture of appreciation to the driver and Guide for their safe driving and assistance throughout the tour.
If you enjoyed the tour, we would appreciate it if you could give the driver and Guide a tip of approximately 1,000–3,000TWD per group directly.
Tipping is optional and entirely up to you, but it provides great encouragement and support to the driver and Guide. 😊
