💡 Information on Purchasing Travel Insurance Locally in Taiwan
One-day travel insurance in Taiwan is mandatory and covers only vehicle accidents and resulting injury or death that occur during the scheduled tour hours on the day of participation. (Loss of or damage to personal belongings is not covered.)

To arrange the insurance, you must provide the required information, such as your name in English and Korean, passport number, and date of birth, no later than two business days before the participation date. If the period includes a weekend or public holiday, the information must be provided at least three days in advance.

Insurance cannot be arranged on weekends, public holidays, or the day of the event.

If any required information is missing or not provided by the deadline, the local Taiwan travel insurance cannot be arranged. Please note that the local Taiwan tour operator is not responsible for any resulting disadvantages.

Claims under the local Taiwan travel insurance must be filed based on the original medical certificate and hospital receipts issued after receiving treatment at a local medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident. Whether benefits will be paid will be determined following a review in accordance with Taiwan’s insurance regulations.

If you do not receive treatment at a local medical institution in Taiwan on the day of the accident, you may not be able to file an insurance claim later. Please be sure to seek medical attention on the same day.

The payment date may vary depending on the insurer’s assessment and generally takes at least 3 weeks.

☀️ Handy Tips for Your Summer Trip to Taiwan
Taiwanese summers bring intense sunshine and frequent sudden showers. We often provide spare umbrellas and bottled water in the vehicle, but supplies may vary by vehicle. For a more comfortable trip, we recommend bringing a small sun-and-rain umbrella for your parents and a personal drink.
🙌 Please note: Gratuity guidelines
Taiwan does not have a mandatory tipping culture, but many guests offer a tip as a gesture of appreciation for the driver and Guide who ensure safe driving and smooth tour arrangements.

If you enjoyed the tour, we would appreciate it if you could give the driver and Guide a tip of around 1,000–3,000 TWD per group directly.

Tipping is entirely optional, but it is a meaningful encouragement and support for the driver and Guide. 😊
